Time flies.
Can't believe my baby turned 4m old 2 days ago!

When both my nieces turned 4m, my SIL fed them meesuah soup to 'open up' their appetite and expose them to new flavours. Supposedly by doing this, when they start eating solids, they wouldn't be such picky eaters. Myth or not, it's definitely worth a try, especially when both my nieces eat so well! It's a pretty major milestone in my opinion!

Based on how Layla chased after the spoon, i am hoping this little rat will be a non-fussy eater and have a good appetite like her mama! Haha

Ahh.. it's pretty insane how much I'm love being Layla's mom. And it's insane how all her little progresses take up such a big space in my heart. Witnessing her growth is just about the most rewarding thing that has ever happened in my life.

But please slow down kiddo! In another 2 months you'll be eating solids already. Someday will be the last day that I'll be latching you. The thought of it makes me sad. I know I'm gonna miss being in this little world of our own. Whenever i start feeling sad about the future, i catch myself quickly and remind myself, instead of worrying about the future, appreciate and fully enjoy what i have with her right here right now.
